Important: This is a FREE assessment forming 20% of your total score for eligibility to the Hands-On Certification Exam.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Filipino citizens with Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields.
  • Non-IT graduates require 40-hour programming training or relevant employment experience.
  • 3rd year students may take the diagnostic exam but must wait until final year for Hands-On Certification.

Application Process

Handwritten forms are NOT ALLOWED. Submit your DICT fillable form to the Regional Focal Person or Registrar.

Required Documents:

  • 1 Valid ID
  • 2 Photocopy of NSO/PSA Birth Certificate
  • 3 Other supporting documents (e.g., training certificates)

After the Diagnostic Exam

If You PASS (Score ≥ 20):

  • Eligible to take Hands-On Certification Examination
  • Diagnostic score (20%) included in final certification score
  • Proceed to 6-hour hands-on programming exam

If You DON'T PASS (Score < 20):

  • Undergo additional programming training
  • Enhance knowledge and skills in ICT
  • Retake the diagnostic exam (no limit)
  • Wait at least 6 months after previous exam results
